Access to this function would normally be restricted to senior users or supervisors. Everyday users would be limited to read-only access via a popup (X_POP1).

This is rather cumbersome, and access to the ADD and DELETE operations cannot be turned off for individual users. My preferred choice would be to access single-function components through a LIST form (like X_LIST1).
Note that an occurrence of SCREEN must be pre-selected in the parent form.

The body of the screen shows those occurrences of PERSON which have been linked to the OPTION occurrence. When the ADD button is pressed a person must be selected from a popup screen (X_POP2). An occurrence of PERSON cannot be linked to more than once to an occurrence of OPTION.
Note that an occurrence of PERSON must be pre-selected in the parent form.
